In the case of student salon appointments ( model bookings with our learners), the following information in italics also applies in addition to the above:

By booking a treatment at our student salon, where beauty therapy and advanced aesthetic treatments are performed by learners as part of their training, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions. Payment in full is required at the time of booking for all model slots to secure your appointment. As the treatments are carried out by students under the direct supervision of experienced trainers, please be aware that the results may not be as effective as those performed by our fully qualified lecturers and practitioners. While every effort is made to ensure that the treatment meets high standards, the students are still in the learning process, and outcomes may vary. In the event of any dissatisfaction with the results, it is important to note that additional visits may be required at the discretion of the training centre to address and rectify the issue, and these may incur additional charges. Any dissatisfaction should be communicated directly to us, and we will work to resolve the concern as efficiently as possible. Furthermore, due to the nature of training, please be prepared for potential delays on student salon days, as there may be longer waiting times, and appointments may run behind schedule. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, as all treatments are part of a learning environment. Models are required to disclose their full medical history and any relevant contraindications before treatment, and a consent form must be signed prior to commencement. We reserve the right to refuse treatment should the model be deemed unsuitable for the procedure for any reason, and we encourage all models to ensure they meet the necessary criteria for the treatment. Once payment is made and the appointment is booked, no refunds will be provided.

Advanced Blemish Removal Treatments.

Please note, we do not diagnose medical conditions in clinic, and as such, you may be required to provide evidence by your practitioner that your mole or lesion has been checked by your GP, with written evidence. Our treatments are carried out for cosmetic purposes. We work alongside the MAPMYMOLE service, which refers suspicious lesions to external consultant dermatologists for assessment, who will provide guidance on whether a lesion/mole requires additional investigation by your GP. However, this is not a substitute for a diagnosis and additional investigation may be required.

No Refund Policy
We strive to provide the highest quality aesthetic treatments and ensure our clients are satisfied with the services we provide. However, please be aware that we have a strict No Refund Policy on all treatments. Once a treatment has been administered or a booking is confirmed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

  • Safety concerns: If there are any concerns regarding your health or well-being that may be affected by the treatment, we will not proceed with the procedure.
  • Risk concerns: If we assess any risks related to your health history or current conditions that could pose a risk during or after treatment, we reserve the right to refuse service.
  • Treatment unsuitability: If the treatment is deemed unsuitable for your skin type, medical condition, or personal needs, we will advise against proceeding.
  • Under 18s: We do not provide aesthetic, electrolysis or permanent makeup treatments to individuals under the age of 18.

Aftercare Advice
To achieve optimal results from your aesthetic treatments, it is crucial that you follow the aftercare advice provided by your practitioner. Failure to follow aftercare instructions can compromise the results and lead to complications. We will provide you with specific aftercare advice tailored to your procedure. Please note: the aftercare below is generalised, and your practitioner may provide you with specific aftercare that suits your needs which differs to the below.

Below is detailed aftercare advice for the following procedures:

Dermal Fillers

After receiving dermal fillers, it is important to follow the aftercare guidelines to ensure optimal results and minimize the risk of complications. For the first 24 hours, avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated area, as this may cause the filler to shift. It is recommended that you refrain from applying makeup or other skincare products to the treated area for at least 4 hours to reduce the risk of infection. Additionally, you should avoid heat and sun exposure, including tanning beds, saunas, and hot showers, for at least 48 hours. Applying a cold compress or ice wrapped in a cloth to the treated area can help reduce swelling and redness, but avoid applying ice directly to the skin. It is also advisable to keep your head elevated while sleeping during the first night to minimize swelling. Strenuous exercise and alcohol consumption should be avoided for at least 24 hours to help prevent bruising and swelling.

It is normal to feel some lumpiness, unevenness, or sensitivity immediately after the procedure as the filler settles into place. This should subside in the days following the treatment. However, if you notice any unusual symptoms, such as severe pain, blanching (paleness) of the skin, mottling (patchy discoloration of the skin), or if the area feels cold to the touch, these may be signs of a vascular occlusion, which is a serious complication. In the event of any of these warning signs, contact us immediately on our emergency line at 07894011677.

From 48 hours to 1 week post-treatment, you should gently cleanse your face with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser and lukewarm water. Use a fragrance-free moisturizer to keep the treated area hydrated. It is also crucial to avoid any facial treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks following the procedure. Be sure to apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 daily to protect the treated area from UV damage and avoid direct sun exposure including sunbeds. While mild swelling, redness, or tenderness is normal and should subside within a few days, if these symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks or if you experience other concerning signs such as increased warmth or pus, it is important to contact your practitioner.

In the long term, it is important to avoid exposing the treated area to extreme temperatures, such as very hot showers, saunas, or ice baths. Maintaining a regular hydration routine and using a gentle, moisturizing skincare regimen will help preserve the results of your dermal fillers.

Permanent Makeup ( Micropigmentation)

Following your semi-permanent makeup treatment, proper aftercare is essential to ensure healing and maintain the best possible results. For the first week, avoid wetting the treated area to allow the pigment to set. You should also refrain from applying makeup to the treated area during this time to reduce the risk of infection. Avoid touching, scratching, or rubbing the treated area to prevent pigment displacement and irritation. For at least 7 days, it is important to avoid saunas, hot tubs, and direct sunlight to prevent the pigment from fading and to avoid any irritation to the skin.

In the first week following the procedure, cleanse the treated area with a mild, non-alcoholic cleanser and lukewarm water. Apply a thin layer of the aftercare ointment or vitamin cream provided by your practitioner to keep the area hydrated and to promote healing. It’s essential to use only a small amount of the cream and avoid over-applying it. Overuse can affect the pigment retention and healing process. The cream should only be used for a short period — typically no longer than 3 days — as prolonged use can interfere with the natural healing of the skin and may cause the pigment to fade prematurely.

Do not apply makeup or other skincare products to the treated area until the skin has fully healed, which can take 7-10 days. Additionally, avoid swimming in chlorinated pools or hot tubs and refrain from engaging in intense physical activity that causes sweating for at least 7 days after your treatment.

During the healing process, you will go through a peeling phase, where the treated skin may start to flake or peel slightly. This is a normal part of the healing process and is essential for the skin to renew itself. Please avoid picking at or scratching the treated area during this time, as it could affect the final appearance and potentially cause scarring.

Additionally, after the peeling phase, you may notice that the pigment appears lighter, which is known as the “ghosting” phase. This is also completely normal and happens as the pigment settles into the skin. The true color of your semi-permanent makeup will return within a few weeks as the skin heals and the pigment stabilizes. You will require a touch-up session within 4-6 weeks to perfect the color and shape, depending on your skin type and how your body absorbs the pigment.

For long-term care, it is essential to wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher every day to protect the pigment from fading due to UV exposure. Avoid using harsh exfoliants, retinoids, or other strong skincare products on the treated area for at least 2 weeks after the procedure. You should also schedule regular touch-ups as recommended by your practitioner to maintain the desired shape and color of your semi-permanent makeup.

Chemical Peels

After undergoing a chemical peel, your skin may feel sensitive and tight, so it is crucial to follow the recommended aftercare to help it heal properly. For the first 24 hours, avoid washing the treated area, and refrain from using any skincare products on the skin. After this initial period, you can begin to gently cleanse your face with lukewarm water and a mild, non-exfoliating cleanser. For at least 24 hours, avoid applying makeup to allow the skin to breathe and heal properly. Moisturization is key during this time, and you should apply a soothing, hydrating moisturizer to the treated area to help reduce dryness and tightness. SP50 should be applied regularly and daily.

During the first 48-72 hours after your peel, avoid sun exposure to prevent pigmentation changes. Direct sunlight can cause the skin to react negatively, leading to hyperpigmentation. You should also avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or any excessive sweating for at least 48 hours to prevent irritation. Peeling is a normal part of the healing process, and you can expect mild to moderate shedding of the skin between days 2 to 5 post-treatment, although not every client will peel from the treatment, and this will not affect the result. It is important to allow the skin to shed naturally; avoid picking, pulling, or scratching the skin to prevent scarring.

In the long term, it is essential to apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day, even when indoors, to protect your newly resurfaced skin from UV damage. Avoid using strong exfoliating products or retinoids for 1-2 weeks after the procedure. Keeping the skin hydrated and following a gentle skincare regimen will support the healing process and ensure your skin remains healthy.

Imedpen Skin Microneedling

Microneedling with the Imedpen device is a minimally invasive treatment that stimulates collagen production, but it requires special aftercare to achieve optimal results. Immediately following the treatment, it is important to avoid touching the treated area for at least 6 hours to prevent introducing bacteria. Avoid applying makeup or other skincare products during this time to minimize the risk of irritation. After the first 6 hours, cleanse the treated area gently using lukewarm water and a mild, non-irritating cleanser. Apply a soothing serum or moisturizer as recommended by your practitioner to hydrate the skin and promote healing.

In the 48-72 hours following the procedure, avoid exposing your skin to direct sunlight, tanning beds, or excessive heat such as saunas, hot showers, and intense physical activities that cause sweating. These factors can irritate the treated area and delay healing. Some redness and mild swelling are common immediately following the treatment, but these symptoms should subside within a few hours to a day. Mild peeling or dryness may occur within the first few days, and it is important to let the skin exfoliate naturally without picking at it to avoid scarring.

For long-term care, it is critical to wear sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) every day, as microneedling makes the skin more sensitive to UV rays. Continue to moisturize the treated area regularly to maintain hydration and support the healing process. Avoid using harsh exfoliants, retinoids, or other strong skincare products for at least 1-2 weeks after treatment to prevent irritation. Following these aftercare instructions will help ensure that you achieve the best possible results from your microneedling treatment.

Mesotherapy/Skin Boosters/ Polynucleotides

Mesotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that delivers vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly to the skin. After your session, it is essential to avoid touching or rubbing the treated area to reduce the risk of infection or irritation. For the first 24 hours, do not apply makeup to the treated area to allow the skin to heal. If you experience any swelling, applying a cold compress can help reduce discomfort. Avoid sun exposure for at least 48-72 hours after the procedure and apply a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect the treated area from UV damage. The area may appear lumpy, bumpy, swollen and irritated after treatment which will begin to subside within 48 hours. Multiple treatments may be required for optimal results.

In the first few days following treatment, cleanse the area gently with lukewarm water and a mild, non-abrasive cleanser. Use a fragrance-free moisturizer to keep the treated area hydrated. Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools, using hot tubs, or engaging in intense physical activities that cause sweating for at least 1 week after the treatment to prevent irritation or infection.

Long-term care includes wearing sunscreen daily to protect the skin from UV damage and prevent pigmentation changes. Avoid using exfoliating products or strong skincare treatments such as retinoids and acids for at least 1-2 weeks after the treatment. Hydrate the skin regularly with gentle moisturizers to maintain the results and promote healthy skin.

OVEO Plasma Pen Treatment

Immediately After the Treatment:

  • Treatment Area Appearance: Immediately after the OVEO Plasma Pen treatment, the treated area will likely appear reddened or inflamed, similar to a mild sunburn. You may also notice small, dot-like scabs or crusts forming over the treated skin. These scabs are a natural result of the plasma energy, which causes tiny superficial burns in the skin to stimulate collagen production. The treated area may feel warm to the touch and could appear swollen for the first 24 to 48 hours.
  • Keep the treated area clean: For the first 24-48 hours, avoid touching, rubbing, or picking the treated area. It is vital to keep the skin free from bacteria, which could lead to infection. The practitioner will provide you with specific aftercare instructions, and it is important to follow them precisely. You may experience a slight tingling or tight sensation in the treated area, which is normal and should subside over the next few hours.
  • Swelling and redness: Swelling is common after the procedure and can last anywhere from 24 hours to 7 days, depending on the area treated. Redness, similar to a mild sunburn, can last for several hours to a few days. This is a normal response to the plasma energy used during treatment. You may experience small scabs or dots on the skin, which are part of the natural healing process.

First 24 Hours:

  • Avoid applying makeup: You should refrain from applying makeup to the treated area for at least 24-48 hours after the treatment to avoid irritation or contamination. If makeup is applied prematurely, it may interfere with the healing process and increase the risk of infection.
  • Use cold compresses if necessary: If there is significant swelling, a cold compress or ice pack can be applied to the treated area in 10-minute intervals to reduce swelling. However, avoid applying ice directly to the skin; wrap it in a clean cloth or towel to protect the skin.
  • Avoid heat and steam: Do not expose the treated area to excessive heat, such as hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms, for at least 72 hours. Heat can irritate the treated skin and prolong the healing process.

The Healing Phase (2-3 Weeks):

  • Crusting and scabbing: In the first few days following the treatment, you will notice small scabs or crusts forming on the treated area. This is a completely normal and necessary part of the healing process, and it is important not to pick or scratch these scabs. Picking at the scabs can lead to scarring and may disrupt the final results of the treatment.
  • Moisturizing the treated area: Keep the skin hydrated by applying the aftercare cream provided by your practitioner. The cream helps soothe the skin and prevents excessive dryness. You should apply a thin layer of the cream two to three times per day, but do not over-apply. Overuse of moisturizers or creams can clog the pores and delay healing. You should continue using the aftercare cream for up to 7 days or as recommended by your practitioner.
  • Avoid sun exposure: It is extremely important to avoid direct sunlight for the first 2-3 weeks following your treatment. UV exposure can cause pigmentation changes, hyperpigmentation, or even burn the newly treated skin, interfering with healing and potentially leading to permanent pigmentation issues. Avoid sunbeds as well, as they can also contribute to pigmentation changes and skin damage. After the first 2-3 weeks, continue to avoid prolonged sun exposure. Always wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 50 on the treated areas, even if you are indoors or on cloudy days. Reapply it every 2-3 hours, especially if you are outside, to protect the skin from harmful UV rays. Sun protection is vital throughout the entire healing process and beyond to maintain the results.
  • Avoid sweating: Strenuous exercise or activities that cause heavy sweating should be avoided for at least 7 days. Excessive sweating can cause irritation and may lead to infection, prolonging the healing process.

Peeling and Regeneration Phase (3-4 Weeks):

  • Peeling or flaking of skin: As your skin heals, you may notice some peeling or flaking of the skin. This is a normal part of the process as the treated skin renews itself. Do not pick at the peeling skin, as this can lead to scarring or uneven skin texture. Let the skin naturally exfoliate. You should continue to use the aftercare products recommended by your practitioner to keep the area moisturized during this phase.
  • Mild redness or pinkness: The treated area may remain slightly red or pink for up to 3-4 weeks, which is a normal response to the plasma energy. This should gradually fade as the skin regenerates. However, if redness or irritation persists beyond this period, contact your practitioner for further advice.

Long-Term Care (4 Weeks and Beyond):

  • Sunscreen is essential: After the first 3-4 weeks, continue to apply sunscreen daily to the treated area, especially when outdoors. UV rays can accelerate aging, cause pigmentation changes, and compromise the results of the plasma pen treatment. Use a sunscreen with SPF 50 for optimal protection, and reapply it regularly throughout the day. Sunscreen is critical to prevent pigmentation issues and to maintain the effects of the treatment.
  • Avoid exfoliating products: For at least 4-6 weeks post-treatment, avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or other aggressive skincare treatments on the treated area. These products can irritate the skin and may cause premature peeling, leading to potential damage. Stick to gentle skincare products as recommended by your practitioner during this period.
  • Hydrate the skin: Continue to keep the treated skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer. Well-hydrated skin heals more effectively and helps maintain the tightening and rejuvenating effects of the plasma pen.
  • Monitor for any unusual reactions: If you experience any persistent irritation, unusual redness, or discomfort that doesn’t subside after the first few weeks, contact your practitioner immediately. These may be signs of infection or other complications that need to be addressed promptly.

Additional Recommendations:

  • Avoid makeup for the first 7 days: Makeup can be applied after the initial 7-day healing period, but avoid applying heavy foundations or powders to the treated area until fully healed. When you do apply makeup, be sure to use clean brushes or applicators to prevent introducing bacteria to the area.
  • Follow-up appointments: Your practitioner may recommend a follow-up appointment after 6-8 weeks to assess your results and determine whether a second treatment is needed for optimal results. Plasma Pen treatments often require more than one session, depending on the area treated and the severity of skin laxity or aging.
  • Expect gradual results: Full results from the OVEO Plasma Pen treatment will be visible after 3 months as collagen remodeling continues. The skin will gradually tighten and appear smoother, firmer, and more youthful as it regenerates.
  • Absolutely! Below are the updated aftercare sections with your requested changes:

Anti Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections are a popular non-surgical treatment designed to relax facial muscles, smooth out fine lines, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. While this procedure is minimally invasive, proper aftercare is essential to maximize results and minimize any side effects or complications.

  • Immediately after the procedure, you may experience slight redness, swelling, or mild bruising at the injection sites. This is completely normal and should subside within a few hours to a day. You may also experience slight tenderness or a mild headache, which are temporary side effects and typically resolve within a few days. It is important to avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours to prevent the injected substance from migrating to unintended muscles, which could lead to undesirable effects such as drooping eyelids or asymmetry.
  • For the first 4 hours, it is recommended that you remain upright. Do not lie down or bend over excessively, as this can cause the treatment to move to areas not targeted for the procedure. Additionally, avoid strenuous physical activities or exercise for 24 to 48 hours following treatment. Exercise increases blood circulation, which can increase the likelihood of bruising and may impact the effectiveness of the treatment.
  • In the first 2 weeks after the injection, the substance will gradually take effect, and you will start noticing a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. However, the full results may take up to 10 to 14 days to become visible, as it takes time for the treatment to work through the muscle tissue and relax the targeted muscles.
  • Avoid sun exposure and heat (such as hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms) for at least 48 hours after the treatment. Heat can increase blood flow and potentially interfere with the effectiveness of the treatment. Similarly, it is crucial to avoid alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours, as alcohol can increase the risk of bruising.
  • Although bruising and swelling are common side effects, these typically resolve within a few days. If you experience any symptoms such as drooping eyelids, difficulty swallowing, blurred vision, or weakness in the muscles, contact your practitioner immediately. These are rare but serious side effects that may require medical attention.
  • To maintain your results, you should avoid massaging the treated areas and follow up with your practitioner as recommended. Results typically last between 3 to 6 months, depending on the individual and the area treated.

Electrolysis (Hair Removal)

  • Electrolysis is a hair removal treatment that uses an electric current to destroy the hair follicle, preventing future hair growth. While electrolysis offers permanent results, proper aftercare is crucial to prevent irritation and ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Immediately after the treatment, you may experience some redness and swelling in the treated area, which is normal and should subside within a few hours. You may also notice small scabs or bumps forming at the hair follicle sites, which are part of the natural healing process. These side effects typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours.
  • It is important to avoid touching, scratching, or picking at the treated area. Doing so can introduce bacteria, leading to infection or scarring. Avoid shaving or waxing the treated area between sessions, as this can interfere with the effectiveness of the treatment. Tweezing is acceptable if you need to remove any stray hairs in between sessions.
  • For the first 48 hours following electrolysis, avoid hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms. Excessive heat can increase swelling and irritation. It is also important to avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks to reduce the risk of pigmentation changes or skin damage. Always use SPF 30 or higher on the treated area to protect your skin from UV rays.
  • Avoid using exfoliating products or scrubs on the treated area for at least 7-10 days post-treatment. These can irritate the freshly treated skin and hinder the healing process. Additionally, refrain from wearing makeup on the treated area for 24 hours to reduce the risk of irritation or infection.
  • Some redness, swelling, or slight bump formation at the treated hair follicle sites is expected in the first few days and should diminish within a week. If you experience excessive swelling, blistering, or signs of infection, contact your practitioner immediately.
  • Multiple sessions may be required for optimal results, as hair grows in cycles, and not all hair will be in the same phase during a single treatment. Electrolysis can be performed in stages, and hair in different growth stages may need to be treated at various intervals. Maintenance treatments may also be necessary after the initial sessions to ensure all hair is permanently removed.

Advanced Electrolysis (Blemish Removal)

As multiple sessions are often needed for optimal results, depending on the number and size of the blemishes, your practitioner will assess the area and recommend follow-up treatments to achieve the desired outcome.

Advanced Electrolysis is a non-invasive treatment that targets skin blemishes such as age spots, skin tags, milia, and thread veins. This procedure uses a small electrical current to remove or reduce the appearance of skin imperfections. As with any cosmetic procedure, adhering to proper aftercare is crucial for healing and optimal results.

Immediately after the treatment, you may notice redness, swelling, or small scabbing in the treated area. These effects are normal and should subside within a few hours to a couple of days. If you had milia or skin tag removal, you may notice a small scab form over the treated area, which is a natural part of the healing process. It is important not to pick at or scratch these scabs, as doing so may cause scarring or disrupt the healing process.

For the first 48 hours after treatment, avoid applying makeup to the treated area to reduce the risk of infection or irritation. After this period, you can apply makeup cautiously, but be gentle to avoid further irritation. Once the scab falls off (usually within 5 to 7 days), you may continue with your regular skincare routine, but avoid aggressive exfoliation.

Avoid sun exposure for at least 2-3 weeks post-treatment, as the treated skin will be more sensitive to UV rays and more prone to pigmentation changes. If sun exposure is unavoidable, always use a high-factor sunscreen (SPF 50) on the treated area, and reapply regularly. Avoid tanning and sunbeds during the healing period to prevent further skin damage and pigmentation issues.

Avoid exfoliating products such as scrubs or chemical exfoliants for at least 7-10 days after the treatment to allow the skin to heal without irritation. Gentle cleansing and moisturizing are recommended during the recovery phase.

You may notice minor scabbing, crusting, or redness around the treated blemishes, but these will gradually heal as new skin forms. It is normal for the treated area to appear slightly darker or lighter in the days following treatment, but this will fade as healing progresses. The treated blemish will generally disappear or fade completely over time.
